Important notes:

  • You will need to download the MyGIG Gulf mobile app, or log in here and submit your claim securely through the mobile app.
  • The claim form has to be stamped and signed by the treating practitioner and by you.
  • Invoices should be attached with receipts/ paid stamps. 
  • Supporting documents might include medical reports, laboratory test results, ultrasound reports, and referral letters.
  • You must keep a copy of all the original claims submitted online for at least 12 months, as from time to time we might request them from you.
  • If for any reason, GIG requires further information to process your claim, we’ll notify you and then you can resubmit the information online to ensure the claim is processed as quickly as possible.
  • You can track/manage your claims using the reference number provided to you by email and SMS.

Important notes:

  • In event of an accident/damage to your vehicle, report immediately to the police, obtain the police report and notify GIG immediately.
  • The police report is mandatory in order to process your claim.
  • Once the claim is submitted, you will receive an SMS providing the claim reference number and contact details of the workshop as per your policy coverage.

  • When an incident occurs, make sure you do your best to minimize the damage.
  • In case of a theft, obtain a police report listing all the stolen items.
  • Make sure to collect all evidence/documentation to prove the incident and the damage caused.
  • Retain all damaged items in case inspection is required.

  • In case of theft, you should provide a written proof from the Police at your destination stating the incident and the stolen items.
  • In case of baggage delay, you should get a letter/report from the Airline confirming the delay and delivery date/time and of the baggage.
